Our Team Lara Hirschmann Bsc(OT); SI certified Lara is a founding member and trustee of Thusanani. She runs an Occupational Therapy practice in Johannesburg specialising in paediatrics with an emphasis on Sensory Integration. She is actively involved in the management and running of Thusanani as well as the supervision of the therapists involved.   Michelle Rosen Chartered Accountant Michelle is a founding member and trustee of Thusanani. She works as a Credit Analyst and Fund Manager in the asset management industry. Michelle is in charge of administration, fundraising and marketing for Thusanani.   Jacob Hirschmann Jacob is an Insurance Broker by profession and has been actively involved in Thusanani on a voluntary basis. He has been involved in administration, fundraising and business management of the Thusanani trust.   Rebecca Wang Bsc OT (UCT) Becky is a part-time employee at Thusanani. She also works in a Private Practice, specializing in paediatrics. She is currently working towards attaining her Sensory Integration Qualification.   Jacky Jacky Owens is the administrator. She runs the office and handles all quotes, stock and preparation for training.   Heleen Johnson Heleen is the Manager of Therapy Services at Thusanani. Her responsibilities include service development, training, organ ising the volunteers and she is involved in the adoption assessments and therapy at the Thusanani Childrens Foundation.   Basheera Basheera is with us full time and is developing the service at The Love of Christ Ministries (TLC). She did her elective block at Thusanani in 2006 and graduated from UCT in 2007. She is passionate about children and is excited about working at Thusanani.   Heather Heather is a part time employee for Thusanani. She is also working in Private Practice, specialising in children and teenagers. She is the process of completing her Sensory Integration Qualification.   Bridget Bridget joined us at the beginning of 2009. She is involved with our School Readiness Program, the Adoption Clinic and oversees the program at Lambano Baby Sanctuary. She also works in a private practice.
